Business Development Executive

My client are a fast growing affiliate network who operate with a "work-hard, play-hard" environment, and they are looking to expand their Sales and Marketing team with a Affiliate Onboarding Executive. We are looking for somebody with a driven and entrepreneurial mindset, who's primary function will be to generate new business opportunities for my client, focusing on the UK market. As they continue to grow, this role is integral to their future success - could this be the right role for you?

Role and responsibilities

As the Affiliate Onboarding Executive, you will:
• Build and manage the sales pipeline to identify new business opportunities to ensure delivery of targets set
• Send weekly updates of the sales pipeline as well as maintaining the pipeline ahead of meetings
• Take responsibility of targeting small and medium sized business, via direct contacts and media agencies
• Work towards monthly and quarterly new business targets
• Approach and convert potential customers using a variety of methods including cold calling, attending events, emails and pitching
• Respond to and convert relevant inbound sales enquiries through the CRM system
• Project manage proposals and pitches alongside the Senior Marketing Manager and the New Business Development Team
• Work with and develop relationships with target clients and agencies
• Liaise with colleagues in Europe to work on International New Business Projects
• Remain up to date on all areas of the company’s strategy, products, services and vision
• Keep up to date with competitive company offerings
• Work with marketing to regularly update sales material and case studies
• Provide support on incoming client queries for the networks self managed clients
• Manage the on-boarding process for the networks self managed clients

Skill set

As the successful Affiliate Onboarding Executive, you will be:
• A strong and confident communicator, showing clear thought process and strong negotiating skills
• Educated to a Degree level or equivalent
• A Self-starter and prepared to work alone as well as part of the wider team
• Able to digest detailed information and use as required
• Able to show strong negotiating skills and a well-developed commercial acumen
• Willing to push boundaries, challenging yourself, colleagues and your Clients

The successful Affiliate Onboarding Executive will also have:
• Excellent organisational skills, with a hands-on approach
• Strong client facing, communication and presentation skills
• You will have a minimum 1 years’ experience in an affiliate marketing or digital role
