My client is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their growing sales team, in the SaaS side of the business. They are a leading price comparison site, specialising in moving related services. They are working with industry accredited removal companies to ensure that they offer a fantastic experience to all customers across the country. They have a SaaS tool that allows the removal companies to save time when working with clients across the UK. This tool is a video surveying tool which means you can video the items in your house in order to get a quote for the move.

They are looking for a Business Development Executive to join their fast paced sales team, to sell the SaaS tool to removal sites across the UK. This person needs to be proactive, eager and not afraid of picking up the phone to people and potential clients.

The team here are very dynamic and can provide a great place to work. They have fun monthly staff socials, a fully stocked fridge with goodies and fruit, and of course an obligatory office dog!

Role and responsibilities

As the Business Development Executive, you can expect the following responsibilities:
● You will identify and source new prospects
● Full responsibility over your entire pipeline (deals can take up to 6 months to close)
● Maintaining and growing existing partner relationships
● Developing partnerships with a strong focus on positive brand association
● Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets, putting in place suitable action plans
● You will be 65% office based and visiting your clients 35% of the time

Skill set

The Successful Business Development Executive will have:
● Consultative and face to face B2B sales experience
● Knowledge of the removals and/or relocation industry (preferred)
● Proven track record of regularly achieving and exceeding targets
● Amazing communication skills, including excellent presentation skills
● A great telephone manner
● Self-motivated, organized with the ability to prioritise work effectively
● Account Management experience (preferred)
● Contract negotiation skills with ability to up-sell and cross-sell
● Driven to succeed with an entrepreneurial flair
● Driving license (preferred)
