Our client is a web-development and web-solutions services agency, and they are looking for a Business Development Manager to help them bring on board new clients across mid-market and Enterprise sized companies. As the Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with a consultative approach to building relationships with clients to sell the innovative, digital platform to Digital Marketing Leaders.

Role and responsibilities

As the Business Development Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Generate new business from both incoming leads and prospecting by employing solution-selling techniques with a focus on the development of new business with Mid-Market and Enterprise size companies
• Conduct discovery/needs analysis with marketing professionals and present the comany's digital solutions
• Penetrate assigned accounts, building and closing a strong pipeline of opportunities
• Provide an accurate forecast of new business opportunities, and meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
• The Business Development Manager will work cross functionally with other departments to ensure a strong client relationship
• You will prospect, control and close and drive all sales through the pipeline, enabling you to hit and exceed sales targets

Skill set

As the Business Development Manager, you will ideally need to have the following qualifications and experience:
• A solid background of winning new business
• Experience selling Digital or Technology Products
• Possess a proven hunger for sales and building strong client relationships
• A proficient track record of exceeding quota whilst maintaining customer loyalty
• Excellent communication skills
• Technically minded and able to pick up new technologies fast
• Experience of responding to RFI and tenders
• Stable career history - at least 2 years experience in current or previous role
• Be able to confidently address conflict, stalls and objections in any sales negotiations, as well as be able to control and close the sale
• This company needs a strong, confident, driven and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to help them hit their aggressive growth and sales targets over the next 3-5 years
