Content Production Specialist

As the Content Production Specialist, you’ll manage the creation of digital content including enhanced photography, video tutorials and more. The ideal candidate will have the ability to maintain a fluid process with cross-functional stakeholders and agencies. You will also have a creative mind with the ability to focus on commercial viability of projects.

Role and responsibilities

Role and responsibilities for the Content Production Specialist:
• The Content Production Specialist will be in charge of executing the enhanced photography and videography for the content calendar for the group incorporating evergreen and business unit specific activity.
• Reviews the feasibility and timings for all requests for enhanced content group projects.
• Sets up kick-off and follow-up meetings for all projects with Content Specialists and external agencies.
• Work with the Business unit and internal teams to create a compelling creative brief for freelancers and agencies.
• Work with content specialists and design team on marketing collateral to ensure all assets are delivered to the content schedule.
• Act as the main contact for external agencies for production planning, execution, and delivery of digital assets.
• Books photographers, videographers, studio, make up stylists, models, internal group beauty advisors and orders props.
• Sources stock for shoot with business units and international buying and arranges for stock to be booked back into the business.
• Maintains daily creative schedule for digital enhanced content projects, understands and evaluates existing processes.
• Suggests changes to refine and streamline workflows with the goal of maximizing efficiency and productivity without sacrificing quality.
• Advises on quarterly and weekly quotas for assets based on creative team’s capacity.
• Attends photo shoots to ensure all shoots run to schedule and everything is set up to plan.
• Coordinates and plans the post production process - Quality Control of production results and ensures assets are delivered on time.
• Collates and distributes all content creation across the group.
• Full responsibility of budget management

Skill set

Skills and experience for the Content Production Specialist:
• Practical photography experience preferred.
• Agency or Retail experience and a track record of executing production content plans online.
• A creative mind coupled with commercial aptitude.
• The initiative to complete assignments on time with minimal supervision.
• Passion for the digital space and willingness to break new ground and try new approaches.
• Expertise working with a brand retailer in the health and beauty business.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Proactive with a high attention to detail.
• High levels of initiative and a can-do attitude
• Key Stakeholders: ecommerce/Marketing teams and International Buying, Marketing Specialist, Copywriter and Content Team, Design, External Agencies.
