Our client, the largest poker business in Europe, is looking to recruit a savvy, commercially minded Digital Marketing Manager – China to ensure their interests are given the highest priorities in China and they have an accelerated flow of customer acquisition as well as retaining current consumers.

They are a global organisation and, put simply, they run the best live poker events in the world. Now they're putting the community back in poker!

As the Digital Marketing Manager – China, you will be working alongside an established team and you will be responsible for managing digital marketing agencies in China. Using these established relationships, your role will be ensuring you are maximising conversion rate optimisation.

Role and responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager – China:

• Develop and execute a localised strategy to grow the brand in the Chinese market
• Keep senior management informed on local legal / regulations developments
• Research the Chinese market potential.
• Key barriers to growth and consumer preferences
• Working alongside various internal stakeholders in the company such as product and marketing teams
• Source, establish, maintain and manage strategic business and marketing relationships and partnerships in China
• Have a contact book of local digital marketing agencies in this region
• You will lead negotiations with media agencies
• Reporting and analysing data from all agencies and the impact of each campaign

Skill set

Experience required of the Digital Marketing Manager – China:

• A minimum of 5 – 8 years’ experience in digital marketing
• Essential to have experience of running digital marketing campaigns in China
• Essential to have an established contact book for media agencies in China
• The Digital Marketing Manager – China must be fluent in Mandarin and English
• Must have experience of the gaming / gambling sector – poker would be preferred
• Solid analytical skills
• Adaptable and able to work using own initiative
