We are retained to find an Enterprise Sales Director - Media for our client that is a specialist Data Platform Provider. Our client works with publishers of all content across 200+ countries, measuring millions of streams and downloads and billions of transactions to create unique data sets that can be used to provide additional revenue streams.

Role and responsibilities

As Enterprise Sales Director - Media, you will be responsible for driving enterprise sales activities focused on direct brands and enterprise clients by licensing and onboarding new customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive Enterprise SaaS sales with target customers across a range of verticals.
• Pitching and closing multi-year licensing agreements with new customers in focus verticals.
• Generate a pipeline of new business on your own from the ground up as well as leveraging existing client base to win incremental business.
• Sell to C-Level and Director level Individuals of FTSE 500 organizations
• Research accounts, identify key players, and develop outbound lead generation strategies
• Develop relationships with global sales leaders through email, phone, social channels, networking events etc.
• Manage prospecting and sales activities with a focus on new product pipeline growth
• Develop close plans for targeted opportunities and drive opportunities to closure
• Leads sales presentations at end-user locations
• Work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision while maintaining focus on achieving optimal outcomes as part of a collaborative development effort
• Update and manage pipeline and prepare revenue forecasts
• Lead, coach and mentor existing sales team
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Skill set

Enterprise Sales Director - Media

Requirements:
• Strong rolodex of senior leaders in the media landscape
• SaaS sales experience
• Proven ability selling technology enabled solutions to and Director + and C- level individuals
• Proven track record in new client development / customer acquisition
• Deep understanding of audience profiling & measurement, ad serving standards, media trading platforms
• Familiarity with the SaaS business model
• Compensation history with more than 50% of compensation tied to performance
• Strong Hunting experience – cold calling, email marketing and networking
• Experience selling into FTSE 500
• High level of energy, hustle, motivation, drive and passion for the technology landscape
• Entrepreneurship
• Metrics driven and competitive
• Exceptional achievement of past sales goals
• Ideally experience in the AdTech, MarTech, Big Data or Business Intelligence Industries
• Strong presentation and communication skills; proactive, “get stuff done” attitude
• 8-10 years experience selling SaaS-based solutions
• Nuanced understanding of selling data-centric, analytics-led, insights solutions
• Motivated by more than 50% of compensation tied to performance
• Enthusiasm and professionalism that is well-presented over the phone and in-person
• Deep knowledge selling ROI based off the value of small optimisations
• Ability to make strategic decisions with autonomy and confidence
• Must understand the “start-up mentality” and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to travel as needed
