Our client is looking to recruit an Inside Sales Executive to be based out of their London office. The company's aim is to be the #1 marketing automation platform for professional services world-wide and in the short term to scale the business to £10m (up from £7m t/o) Annual Reoccurring Revenue within the next 18 months hence the need to grow the sales team.

Their product differs from other Marketing automation products like Hubspot, Marketo and Eloqua due to the explicit focus in professional services, ease of use and the design of the products to meet the needs of high value relationship marketing vs generic more mass market consumer marketing for which traditional automation technology is more suited to.

The success Inside Sales Executive candidate will join a highly collaborative environment, client led and innovative. Clients and the team together help shape the future road map and as a result, their clients don’t just get a technology platform but a launch pad to drive their business initiatives.

Role and responsibilities

Job Purpose of the Inside Sales Executive:

Qualify leads generated from lead generation marketing activities and build a pipeline of new opportunities that can be passed to the business development team with a detailed briefing.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities designed to support the business development team meet targets.
• Prepare and where necessary conduct product demos focused on client needs.
• Prospect and build relationships with prospects in order to create a viable opportunity pipeline.
• Learn how to negotiate and close new business contracts in line with company guidelines and approvals.
• Diligently record interactions with their clients (such as calls made, emails sent in the company CRM (Salesforce).
• Provide market and competitive intelligence to management.
• Provide consistent and accurate business forecasts, trends and results.
• Become an expert in the industry verticals they operate in.

Skill set

Personal Qualities required for the role of Inside Sales Executive:
• Strong proven prospecting skills including proven track record of success in sales support or business development
• Goal and numbers oriented, structured, able to plan, execute and deliver results to support target achievement
• Self-starter, ambitious and energetic. Hungry for success with a whatever-it-takes attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Technically aware, with a good understanding of technology
• Familiar with office software tools, CRM and professional services experience desirable but not necessary

Experience and Qualifications required:

• The successful Inside Sales Executive would typically have over 2 years demonstrable track record of success in direct sales or lead generation in an inside sales environment selling similar solutions either in Professional Services or software sales in a B2B environment.
• Experience with similar solutions, preferably SaaS based marketing automation solutions would be an advantage.
• Be a confident in their abilities to build relationships, comfortable and experienced communicating to all levels in client organizations (typically CMO or equivalent).
