We are looking for a Tier 1 Partnership Manager. Our client works with many of the UK's most innovative companies, helping them to maximise their government funding opportunities. As Partnership Manager, you will support and bolster their Partnerships channel, which is one of their most successful channels, they're at the right place to start scaling it, so they're looking for people who want to join them and make sure both them and their partners get the most out of each relationship. As Partnership Manager, you'll be joining a supportive, metrics-based sales team with a wealth of sales experience. You'll be learning from an experienced Partnerships Manager about how to engage with and generate leads from a variety of partners. You'll be building and maintaining long term personal relationships with influential leaders, significantly increasing your social capital in the tech industry.

Role and responsibilities

On the average week as Partnership Manager, you might:

• Travel to an accelerator to give a presentation or run a workshop
• Attend events, networking and meeting potential partners and clients
• Coordinate email campaigns to generate awareness about the service's USP
• Liaise with the sales team, to review metrics, track ROI and coordinate activities
• Meet with a VC and make sure they're getting what they need
• Follow up with a prospect you met at an event

Skill set

As the Partnership Manager:

• You have proven experience of doing sales work, including generating and managing pipelines and closing clients
• You're passionate about the tech scene, familiar with terms like "Series" and "talent acquisition"
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You're comfortable with using a sales CRM and diligently keeping it up to date
