The Performance Media executive will play a key role in the management of global family entertainment campaigns. The Performance Media Executive will work within the UK digital marketing team, the role will look after the design, implementation and reporting of in house, performance campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter. The Performance Media Executive will also interface with the DMP and will work with external media agencies when required.

This role requires a self-starter who is good at problem solving and can work both autonomously and as part of a team. You will need excellent communication skills to be able to explain campaign tactics and outcomes to a wide-ranging audience. You will also need excellent time management skills and be able to work at times under pressure, working across multiple campaigns.

Role and responsibilities

The Performance Media Executive is a varied role which will bring you into contact with multiple areas of the business from tickets to product sales to app installs. Your day to day activity will change according to priorities but key responsibilities are as follows:
• Help assist key UK franchise stakeholders and LoB’s in understanding digital objectives and translate into performance plans
• Work closely with different stakeholders across the business to ensure campaigns are aligned with content and objectives
• Attendance at key meetings providing insight and knowledge on biddable paid media
• Review and critique incoming creative & content to ensure it’s aligned with objective and fit for purpose
• Campaign activation – schedule, test and launch campaigns within budget and in a timely manner
• Track campaigns and optimise as appropriate
• Assist in reporting, tracking and measuring all activity in line with performance based KPIs and benchmarks
• Stakeholder management - provide regular audits, analysis and optimisations to improve campaign performance
• Manage an ongoing ‘test and learn’ optimisation programme to maximise performance
• Develop close relationships with media partners and external agencies
• Assist multiple LOBs with activation and optimisation of campaigns across other social & video channels
• Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity and latest innovations and demonstrate how these can be incorporated into the wider company's paid social strategy
• Explore opportunities on new and emerging social channels

Skill set

The Performance Media Executive will have the following experience:
• Minimum 2 years experience within the digital space
• Tertiary education preferred

• Proven knowledge and experience of paid/biddable channels and management platforms
• Agency or in-house experience working on paid social campaigns
• Experience working on entertainment and/or retail brands
• Creative thinker with an understanding of digital marketing
• Strong at communicating with non-digital savvy stakeholders, ensuring knowledge and learnings are effectively passed on
• Excellent creative and copywriting skills
• Good time management skills with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks under pressure to meet deadlines
• Highly numerate with a strong attention to detail and ability to analyse large sets of complex data
• Proactive team player able to work individually and as part of a team
• Have an affinity and passion for family entertainment outlets.
