We are looking for a Sales Executive to grow sales in one of our client's biggest products. The role will be selling direct to clients across a range of verticals. The top candidate will possess the ability to manage deals through the pipeline in a timely, professional manner. The Sales Executive role focuses on developing new business with prospect clients, so strong communication skills are key. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to play a key part in a small, motivated sales team within a growing, market-leading tech company

Our client are software company specializing in mobile platforms for some of the world’s biggest brands. Their flagship product is the leading mobile engagement platform in the UK and currently powers over 250 apps for publishers such as Hearst, The FT, The Daily Telegraph, Dennis Publishing and many more. Based in the heart of King’s Cross, London, they have clients in media and entertainment, retail, government, pharmaceuticals, professional services and membership organisations. Anyone with content to distribute to a mobile audience is a potential user of this platform. The Strategic Partnerships Director is a key player in the commercial team - could this be a good fit for you?

Role and responsibilities

The Sales Executive can expect to have the following responsibilities:
● To win new business through direct sales in the UK
● Research, identify and initiate dialogue with prospective clients
● Generate and nurture new business leads across vertical markets in the UK
● Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses
● Advance clients through the sales process and close sales in a timely manner
● Manage client accounts once the sale is complete and act as their commercial contact
● Maintain accurate records of all activity and sales through Salesforce
● Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding activity and performance
● Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans as required

Skill set

The successful Sales Executive will ideally have the following profile:
● Some professional experience (preferably, but not necessarily in software/technology) in sales
● A competitive and driven character – you want to work hard and progress quickly
● An ability to understand technology and articulate simple technology principles
● A real interest in digital marketing and digital publishing
● A positive, can-do attitude – you take direction well and like to pick up new skills quickly
● Entrepreneurial thinker with imaginative approach to developing new business relationships
● Relationship builder, and a good networker
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail orientated
● Strong business integrity and customer focused
● Graduate with a relevant degree
