They are looking for a Website Product Manager to drive their ambitious development roadmap. Their success is based on a fearless appetite for rapid innovation and a relentless focus on providing the best possible experience for their customers. They are looking for a Website Product Manager with courage, commitment and understanding who can own this process and deliver continuous improvements in customer experience and business value.

Role and responsibilities

Roles and Responsibility of the Website Product Manager:
• Holding the position of product owner in a well-established in-house Scrum team, you will occupy a central role in turning business objectives into well-defined features.
• Managing backlog and roadmap you will understand and communicate the vision of the business, ensuring effort is focused on highest value objectives and learning iteratively to continuously inspect and improve.
• You will be empathic and customer focused, able to engage constructively in conversations with designers and make nuanced judgments on UX and UI based on your experience and understanding of what makes their customers tick.
• You will be skilled in writing high quality user stories with well defined acceptance criteria and measures for success.
• Gathering insight from Usability studies, A/B testing, Session recording, Analytics and sales data you will be evangelical about the use of data and research to drive decision making.
• Communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the business and across departments, you will identify and prioritise the most valuable work for their development team to do and ensure delivery to demanding timescales.
• Initially working on their existing Magento platform you will be expected to adapt to and ultimately lead product development on their next generation architecture which will include enterprise level ecommerce and CRM alongside a rapidly developing suite of microservices.
• Reporting to the Head of Product, you will engage with product managers from their ERP and data warehouse teams to identify process improvements, dependencies and opportunities for collaboration.

Skill set

Experiences and Skills of the Website Product Manager:
• 2 years+ experience in product management or similar role
• Magento CMS and/or similar ecommerce platforms
• Stakeholder management
• Ability to communicate technical requirements both to developers and non-technical colleagues
• Experience of and commitment to Agile/Lean philosophy ideally in a Scrum environment
• Experience in B2C eCommerce dealing with fast moving products
• Our current stack is based on HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, PHP, SQL. Understanding of these technologies is essential, direct development experience desirable but not essential.
• European languages an advantage - particularly French, Dutch or Spanish
