Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Manager Role

  • Own and drive forward the company’s CRO strategy and roadmap
  • Analyse and optimise online performance by suggesting appropriate improvements to the company’s website experiences, to increase the number of lead conversions and profitable sales

CRO Manager Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement the CRO and customer experience strategy to drive improvements and maximise sales
  • Identify usability issues and make recommends for change
  • Lead A/B testing and optimisation plans
  • Contribute to the development of an effective online marketing plan
  • Carry out regular quantitative and qualitative research on customers to understand conversion data using surveys, polls, heatmaps and recordings
  • Use data visualisation best practices to communicate test results to stakeholders

CRO Manager Requirements

  • Proven CRO experience in a problem solving and client-facing role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a quantitative, test-driven field
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Understand best practices for UI and UX for landing pages, applications, mobile, and desktop
  • Experienced and knowledgeable with CRO tools to setup, launch and develop A/B and MV tests
  • Working knowledge of research tools, e.g. HotJar, CrazyEgg
  • Experienced user of web analytics tools, e.g. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Strong grasp of ROI with an analytical mind
  • Effective communicator to market test ideas and influence test-related decisions
  • Excellent presentation skills to showcase learnings and results
