Event Marketing Manager Role

  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
  • Create design guidelines for your creative team to hone marketing materials such as your event website, flyers, brochures and advertising artwork
  • Create and coordinate website and landing page copy, snappy ads, marketing emails and press releases
  • Methodically track and adhere to campaign dates, ad booking, project reviews, meeting planning and database building (CRM)
  • Use data and marketing metrics to analyse the impact of your marketing activities on event sales, and be able to report on them

Event Marketing Manager Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Event Marketing Manager or similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Event Marketing, Marketing, PR, Communications or related field is preferred
  • Skilled in project management
  • Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with web content management tools, e.g. WordPress
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of SEO, PPC, Social Media and Google Analytics
  • Demonstrable experience using CRM and marketing automation systems for events
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strategic mindset
